280 Bred Females & Pairs

Listings:                  

 140  purebred registered red angus fall calving females (except 23 first calf spring pairs). Including 117 fall calving (August 10) registered females from first calf hfrs (23 hd) ro older brood matrons. Knight emphasizes maternal efficiency, disposition, ferility, carcass and milk. Cows were exposed for 55 days to breed leading AI sires and cleaned up with superior moderate framed carcass enhanced natural sires.

144 commercial purebred red angus and red angus/tarantaise-x and blk angus and blk angus/tarentaise-x (30 %) bred LBW red angus bulls to calve August 10; 55 days. Commercial females range from first calf hfrs (34 hd) to 11 years.

Ages selling unclude 60 bred hfrs, 41 @ 3 yrs, 38 @ 4 yrs, 65 @ 5-9 yrs, 23 first calf pairs.

Cows will be sorted for udder quality, disposition and other soundness traits. Since 1996, females have been ultrasounded for carcass traits (IMF & REA)
