December 20 -- Regular Sale
     A big run of cows adn feeding cows. The market got a holiday boost on the feeding cows,      heiferettes were softer to lower and bulls steady to higher with a few good bulls available.      Overall a strong sale. Thank you for your business.

High Yielding Cows:  $36 TO $44 Open Heifers (1000 - 1500#) $64 to $74
Full & Low Yielding Cows:  $33 TO $39 Bulls:  $39 TO $52

December 13--Special Bred Female & Regular Sale

    We had a large, high quality offering of bred females that were well presented, selling to an     overflow crowd. Thanks for your business. 

    We had a good run of weighups on a lower market.

Feeder Cows: $35.50 to $46

Heiferettes: $46 to $72

High Yielding Cows: $357 to $43 Open Heifers: $76 to $81.25 (mostly 9 wts.)
Full & Low Yielding Cows: $31 to $38 Bulls: $39 to $50.50

December 6-- Special Spring Calf featuring Weaned Calves

    A high quality offering with a lot of variance in condition and flesh. Market was strong on     weaned, preconditioned calves. Thanks for the business.

December 3--Regular Sale

     We had a good run of cows on this repostponed sale. Market was soft especially low end      cows.

Feeder Cows: $37 to $47

Heiferettes: $47 to $74

High Yielding Cows: $37 to $44 Open Heifers: $74 to $80
Full & Low Yielding Cows: $32 to $37 Bulls: $42 to $54.25

November 29 - Logterman Dispersion & Regular Sale

     Considering the sale was postponed because of heavy snow, we had a good turnout but      considerably less people around for the Logterman Dispersion. Many good buys made on a      good set of Red Angus females.

     Weigh-Ups were strong to Higher

Feeder Cows: $40 to $50

Heiferettes: $50 to $74.50

High Yielding Cows: $37 to $41 Bulls: $45 to $51 lite test
Full & Low Yielding Cows: $34 to $38.50

November 15-- Special Spring Calf featuring Weaned Calves

     A good run of weaned calves offered and considering flesh, calve were well received. The      board recovered substantially from early week lows which helped everyones attitude.

November 12--Special Bred Female & Regular Sale

     A big run of weigh-ups and small run of bred cows. Most of the cows were short term and      selling on a aggressive market. The weigh market is dollars lower compared to a week ago      and two weeks ago.

Feeder Cows: $37 to $50 Heiferettes: $50 to $74
High Yielding Cows: $37 to $45 Bulls: $42 to $52.50
Full & Low Yielding Cows: $32 to $37

November 8-- Special Spring Calf Sale

     We had a good run of calves, quality was good. Again, market conditions continue to      deteriorate.

November 5-- Regular Sale

    A big run of cows selling on a lower market

Feeder Cows: $37 to $54 Heiferettes: $50 to $74
High Yielding Cows: $36 to $44 Bulls: $43 to $53
Full & Low Yielding Cows: $32 to $37

     A big run of calves with a change in price structure. The fervor is gone and now is time to
     assess marketing strategy.

October 29, 2001 -- Special Bred Female & Regular Sale
     We had a good small run of bred cows and fall pairs. Good buyer interest, trying to buy fall       pairs.

Feeding cows:  $37 to $52 High yielding cows:  $37 to $45
Full & Low yielding cows:  $34.50 to $40 Heiferettes:  $52 to $75
Bulls:  $45 to $51.50  

October 25 -- Special Spring Calf Sale

     A big run of calves with a change in price structure. The fervor is gone and now is time to

October 22, 2001 -- Special Yearling & Regular Sale
     A good run of yearlings, quality was excellent and demand was strong. Cow market was
     weak to lower.

Full & Low yielding cows:  $35 to $41 Heiferettes:  $50 to $75
Bulls:  $44 to $53.75  

October 18 -- Special Spring Calf Sale

     A big run of calves, quality was excellent especially big calves. Demand was off compared to
    
previous sales

October 15, 2001 -- Regular Sale
     We had a big run of cows, selling on an active market.

Feeding cows:  $45 to $55 High yielding cows:  $41 to $47
Full & Low yielding cows:  $36 to $43 Heiferettes:  $51 to $75
Bulls:  $45 to $54  

October 11, 2001-- Special Fall and Yearling Sale
     A big run of calves and yearlings, quality was excellent. We had an active sell on all classes.

October 4 -- Special Fall and Yearling Sale

     Excellent offering of yearlings and a real fancy set of calves. Buyer attendance was goo and
     buyers were active.

September 27, 2001-- Regular Sale
     We had a big run of cows selling on a lower market than two weeks ago. Again, buyers      needed cows but on a lower market.

Feeding cows:  $40 to $54 High yielding cows:  $37 to $45
Full & Low yielding cows:  $35 to $39 Heiferettes:  $50 to $78
Bulls:  $45 to $53  

September 20, 2001 -- Special Fall and Yearling Sale
     We had a nice offering of replacements. The market was lower compared to 2 weeks ago.         Buyer activity was strong.

September 13, 2001-- Regular Sale
     A small run of cows on an active market. Considering the circumstances of this past week      the markets are near steady to $1.00 lower

Feeding cows:  $42 to $50 High yielding cows:  $40 to $45
Full & Low yielding cows:  $36 to $40 Heiferettes:  $50 to $82
Bulls:  $45 to $57  

September 6, 2001 -- Special Fall and Yearling Sale

August 30 -- Regular Sale
     A large run of cows and bulls, selling on a lower market. Bulls were $4-$8 lower than three      weeks ago. Heiferettes were steady.

Full & Low yielding cows:  $37 to $42 Heiferettes:  $54 to $82
Bulls:  $45 to $58  

August 23 -- Special Fall and Yearling Sale

     A small run of cows on an active market.  Bulls were uneven, depending on condition and      weight.

Feeding cows:  $45 to $56 High yielding cows:  $42 to $53
Full & Low yielding cows:  $39 to $44 Heiferettes:  $56 to $82
Bulls:  $49 to $62  

July 26-- Special Fall Calf and Yearling Sale
July 19-- Special Bred Female and Pair Sale

     Another large run of weighups.  Again, the market was steady but uneven. The good      cows were strong and the low end cows sold unevenly steady to lower. Bulls steady to      weak.  Heiferettes sold strong but lightly tested on the good kind.

June 14 -- Regular Sale
     We had a real big run of cows on an active market.  Overall, the market wasteady      with      two weeks ago but uneven on feeding cows.  Bulls were steady tohigher.  Heiferettes were      strong to higher.

High Yielding Cows: $43 to $48 Bulls: $52 to $64

     A big run of cows on an active, aggressive market.  Overall, cows & bulls were higher.  The      lower end cows were the big gainers.

     A big run of cows, bulls, and heiferettes.  The market is softer to loweron cows.  Heiferettes      were lower as well.  The recent lower bids for dress meat impacted our whole market.

A big run of cows and heiferettes.  Overall an active market, the recent gains the last two weeks were lost.  Feeder cows and heiferettes were active to steady.
