Demand for feeding cows is strong. Overall, a good sale to sell on. Bull market regrouped from previous sale. An excellent turnout of buyers, most were aggressive and the market was avtive all day. Cows are selling to wide area of interest. Many cows, if sound, go to feed or country points. Demand was strong and prices were almost steady with our August 4th sale. Compared to three weeks ago cows steady to lower, with bulls lower. Buyers were actively seeking numbers. Considering the Friday release of positive BSE cow, it really had no effect on the market. Feeding, rebreed and high yielding cows were steady along with heiferettes. Full and low yielding cows were steady to lower.
